Gibney PRO, a Professional Certificate Program unique to New York City, equips emerging dance artists to enter the field professionally and lead the field moving forward. The program centers on developing sustainable, value-driven career practices through a commitment to collaboration, agency, mentorship, problem-solving, and equity. COVID-19 has severely deprived the next generation of dancers two years of training, education, performance, relationship-building, and opportunity. By ensuring that they remain in the industry, Gibney PRO has the potential to build and diversify the field as we know it. Meringoff Foundation support is seeding this far-reaching initiative.
